There is a fund raiser going on in Merrickville, Ontario just from the boarder to the states and it is a Pet Expo on May 31. There are all sorts of pet booths set up at the community center with a pet fashion show and draws. Money is going to the Alzheimer's Society and LAWS (Lanark Animal Welfare Society)-the cost being $5.00 at the door with raffle tickets and whatever other fundraising ideas that day. This is the 2nd one for that area and receives great response so add this to the above for ideas as fundraising. It provides a great day to socialize with other pet owners and relax for the day.
